Welcome to Living Correspondence Studio (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, programs, courses, workshops, digital materials, services, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, or by clicking to accept these Terms when prompted, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain Services. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity under your account
  • Promptly notifying us of unauthorized use

We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to safeguard account information.

2. Paid Programs and Fees

Certain Services require payment (“Paid Services”).

  • Pricing is provided at the time of purchase.
  • Payment is due in full unless a payment plan is offered.
  • Access to Paid Services is granted for the period specified at purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except as described in the Refund Policy below.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Changes will not affect purchases already completed.

3. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the specific program or offering.

For live courses:

  • Full refund if cancellation occurs at least eight (8) weeks before the course start date.
  • Fifty percent (50%) refund if cancellation occurs at least two (2) weeks before the course start date.
  • No refunds within two (2) weeks of the course start date unless otherwise required by law.

For digital products or downloadable materials, all sales are final unless otherwise specified.

We reserve the right to evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

4. User Content

You may have the opportunity to submit content such as comments, posts, assignments, or other materials (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the content or have permission to submit it
  • It does not violate any law or third-party rights
  • It is not defamatory, abusive, threatening, obscene, or unlawful
  • It does not contain malicious code

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, you grant Living Correspondence Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with providing the Services and for marketing or promotional purposes.

We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to remove User Content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Services — including text, curriculum materials, videos, graphics, branding, design, and course materials — is the exclusive property of Living Correspondence Studio and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or publicly share course materials
  • Create derivative works
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any portion of the Services
  • Share login credentials or paid materials with others

6. Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source materials
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services
  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes
  • Harass or harm other participants

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

7. Publicity

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you grant us permission to use your name, likeness, testimonials, and general biographical information for marketing or promotional purposes without additional compensation.

If you prefer not to be included in marketing materials, you may notify us in writing.

The Services may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Specific results from participation
  • Accuracy or completeness of materials
  • Continuous or error-free access

Participation in our programs does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Living Correspondence Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the applicable Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Living Correspondence Studio and its affiliates from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms.

You may terminate your participation at any time by discontinuing use of the Services. Refunds, if any, are governed by the Refund Policy above.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, unless arbitration is required by us in our sole discretion.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
